About Us

WEAR HAMOODI was created with love and inspired by our son, Hamoodi — إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Our family brings together Mexican and Palestinian roots, Arab and Latino cultures, and a shared Muslim faith. WEAR HAMOODI was born from those intersections — and from all the beautiful, complicated, funny moments that come with navigating culture, religion, language, family, and identity.

Our story also brings together two different Muslim experiences: one of us came to Islam as a revert, while the other was born and raised Muslim. That means a lot of learning from one another, explaining things, laughing at misunderstandings, blending traditions, and figuring out what belongs to culture, what belongs to faith, and what is simply part of being us.

Arab does not automatically mean Muslim, and Muslim does not belong to one culture, language, or part of the world. Through our designs, we want to celebrate that diversity while also making room for humor, familiarity, and the experiences that people living between cultures instantly understand.

Every piece is created with intention, pride, love, and a little personality. We hope you see something in WEAR HAMOODI that makes you feel represented, makes you smile, or simply feels like home.
